Apple filed for a “Magic Trackpad” patent awhile ago, and today, amidst the WWDC iPhone 4 spectacle, a Chinese source quietly publishes a handful of pictures showing an enlarged standalone trackpad that is built on the same principle as Apple’s aluminum keyboards. Reports from Blackberry Underground say that the new Blackberry Onyx may have trackpad instead of the legendary Blackberry trackball, all the proof being in the pictures, of course. The Blackberry Onyx was characterized as a best of all worlds device so this move towards a trackpad was a very wise move indeed, keeping the great features of a non-touch Blackberry alive. More »
