Apple has officially acknowledged that there is a software (but not hardware) problem with the iPhone 4, whose bars representing signal strength are inaccurate. After extensive “retesting,” Apple has found that the antenna design is fundamentally sound, and that a mere software update will alleviate some of the problems that AT&T customers have been experiencing.
