Today at X10 Microsoft unveiled their Windows Phone 7 with Xbox LIVE integration. This feature allows users to sign in with their gamer tag and view a mobile version of their dashboard. Now you’ll be able to read the Spotlight feed, view which Achievements you are missing, and even play downloadable XBLA games. More »


Microsoft sent a letter for all Xbox live users today that it will be discontinuing the service for all orginal Xbox games. That’s right…Halo 2 will be disconnected from Xbox Live. The change is set to take place on April 15th. More »

Like promised by Microsoft, the integration of three popular social networking type sites have been added to the Xbox Live function on the Xbox 360. Users may now access Facebook, Twitter, and even use Last.fm (a radio station) through the My Community channel on the dashboard. More »

With the near release of the upcoming L4D sequel, Left 4 Dead 2, special features dealing with the Xbox Live concepts are starting to take shape. Valve confirmed today that there will be a list of special awards to use on your gamer avatar on Xbox Live that are to be earned from completing various tasks in-game. Some of these items are crazy, ranging from a med kit to a garden gnome, and others are things like T-shirts. A detailed list of the items and how to get them was provided by Valve (Woot!):
